The Highway Code [140] stipulates Cycle lanes as: "These are shown by road markings and signs. You MUST NOT drive or park in a cycle lane marked by a solid white line during its times of operation. Do not drive or park in a cycle lane marked by a broken white line unless it is unavoidable. You MUST NOT park in any cycle lane whilst waiting restrictions apply." [Law RTRA sects 5 & 8].

Penalty code N065: Fail to conform to a traffic sign, namely a bus lane or contravening Route for buses/pedal cycles. Refers to laws S 36 RTA 88 Reg 19 TSGD Regs 02 & Sch 2 RTOA 88.

At this pinch point there's a side lane for people cycling. This taxi driver decides that it's a parking space and blocks it completely. Cycle contraflow completely blocked by MACC Building Solutions van. Occupants, in back of van, said they had to block the cycle lane because there was nowhere else to park.
