CycleStreets API

CycleStreets has a fully-featured API to enable you to add journey planning (with full geocoding and other features) and other facilities to your app.

We encourage wide use of the API. A range of other apps, including several leading London cycle hire apps and the BikeHub app make use of our API.

Open-source code of our mobile apps

All our mobile apps are open-source code, which you can find on the CycleStreets GitHub account.

Specification of our iPhone app

We would like to extend our app to more mobile platforms. However, as a not-for-profit organisation we do not have any substantial funds to do so, so we rely on volunteers who give their time generously.

If you would like to help port CycleStreets to other apps, we have created a detailed specification of the iPhone app:
