A typical scene on Hawkins Road, forming part of Sustrans National Cycle Network, Route 51. It is an industrial estate with businesses reliant on HGV's making it most unpleasant and unattractive to new or returning cyclists.
A section of NCN Route 51 is obstructed due to building work. Surely something could have been done so cyclists do not need to dismount? Note also the lights that blaze all day long, reported in December.
