25428Photo #25428Needs at least 4 stands. There are a large number of companies based in this building with no bike parking available. The building's owner does not allow bikes to be locked to the building's fence. There is a railing by the road but bikes locked to it are persistently hit by cars - notably a police car demolished the entire railing last year.Cycle parking:

25427Photo #25427There were 4 stands here previously which were removed by Westminster Council. The nearest stands are in Bryanston Street and Old Quebec Street & are in insufficient numbers. I have tried raising this issue with Westminster Council but was ignored. There is a general shortage of bike parking spaces down this end of Oxford Street.Cycle parking:

25417Photo #25417Being a consultant in London I often move around offices - Currently I'm at 15 Old Broad Gate, under the Natwest Tower; There's a small room in the basement where I can keep my bike safe, but no showers!

Personally I don't think there is too much problem with people in offices leaving their bikes somewhere, more about the hygene and showering. If I can't shower at work there is no chance I'll cycle in.

I'm now on project for 3 months, so have joined a gym - mainly for the showers!

I have noticed however there is minimal cycle parking in this area.

25407Photo #25407Lincoln Court estate in Hackney is lacking any form of secure bicycle parking - I'm sure this is not un-typical. All of the homes on the estate are flats and so have no secure outdoor space of their own in which to keep bicycles, and the estate rules mean that bicycles cannot be kept on the common landings. This means that people either have to store their bicycles in the limited space in their flats, or more commonly are put off from buying a bicycle. The estate has a couple of large secure parking garages in which only a small percentage of the available car parking spaces are actually used, and which could easily provide a location where secure bicycle parking could be provided to residents. Unfortunately, however the estate management company (Hackney Homes) refuse to countenance such an idea for what appear to be mainly bureacratic reasons. It would be really great if some way could be found to unlock this space for cyclists to use it.Cycle parking:

25402Photo #25402Plenty of shops I'd love to stop at on my way home. But nowhere to leave a bike, not even a suitable lamppost. So I don't bother with the shops. It would be useful to have stands all teh way from the junction with Heyford Avenue down South Lambeth Road to Aldebert Terrace as there are dozens of shops and hundreds of cyclists passing by who won't stop at the moment.Cycle parking:

However the other side of the works cycle network exists and there should be a diversion in place for cyclists to get to it, rather than simply 'No Entry' signs leaving cyclists to worm their way around 90-degree paths (see #25371) without a drob kerb the other side.Temporary closure:

25362Photo #25362Hi, cycle parking badly needed outside Kelsey Kerridge for those using the Sports Centre, pool and Parker's Piece. I would suggest converting part of Queen Anne car park into parking spaces for, say, 250 bicycles. As a very partial short term effort, the wooden poles in the photo could be removed and Sheffield stands installed. Regards, Mr TCycle parking:
