I think I must subconsciously feel a little guilty being on the road here and hog the verge on the corner. Not any longer. I will be in the middle of the lane. There will be no space for idiots like this.

This is a follow up from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DG6kZNFCIE0.

If a car driver is turning left at this junction, the implication is that they must have a car that is 3foot wide at most. This is a ridiculous junction and needs fixing.

Immediately after having a car come far too close at speed (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=soTWCkaLSsc) I move into the centre of the lane to take control of it (as recommended by the Institute of Advanced Motorists).

Surprise, surprise, the road still has idiots on it. There's another 4-5 foot of road to the right which makes all the difference to me. Even just being as far over as the first car would make a difference, although making note of the extra bulk might be worhtwhile as well!

Again, breaking "Highway code rule 163".

This car passes far too close at considerable speed. It's going so fast, I can't pick off the registration. As you can see, there is on-coming traffic.

Again, breaking "Highway code rule 163".

Immediately after this, I move to the centre of the lane, fed up with car drivers being dangerous idiots. The result is at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ci7guvKKaOo

This pedestrian shows wonderful control of their dog, not. He's wondering along with headphones in, not looking out for his animal or anyone else using the path.

I slow, as it my responsibility, but it's yet another reason why I choose not to use shared paths often.
