Victoria Road is closed due to a collapsed sewer - but cyclists always find their way through.
This looks a bit like an archaeological dig that has uncovered an early 21st century cycle way.

Cyclists Dismount on St Andrews St, Cambridge, but there is no obstruction on the road.
The new footway under construction that will connect this pavement properly with the Cycle Bridge.
Some confusion - one sign tells pedestrians to use the footpath on the other side, but they've also put up cones to create a temporary path - which forces cars into the contraflow cycle lane.
Building this riverside promenade seems to involve moving masses of amounts of earth out of Cambridge and bringing some fresh new stuff in. Is all that really necessary?

The buses-only (no cycling, in theory) route on the east side of Russell Square is being removed.
Not exactly cycling-related but Angel Pavement, Royston is undergoing roadworks c. late January 2011.
Cycleway upgrade preparation just north of Harston on the A10. Quite a few road works signs already up; 40 mph temporary speed limit will be enforced. Work starts 17th January for 70 days, according to signage.
Good practice, except that it's also a shared-use cycle path - but there is level access at each end. (These barriers had been waiting for repair since the summer of 2009 - see #19037 )

One-way traffic through Hills Road bridge roadworks (naturally cyclists go to the front of the queue and the cars then have to follow them).
A narrow lane for cyclists has now been created by the sewer repairs on Pembroke Street.
