Gallery: Visibility of cyclist by a bus driver

These images will surprise many cyclists.

In the first image, Steve is standing in a typical position for a cyclist next to a bus. The next image shows what the bus driver sees - the cyclist is not visible to the driver at all.

In the next three images, the cyclist is positioned further back from the coach. Only now is the cyclist just becoming visible to the driver.

Thanks very much to Steve from Stagecoach for helping with these pictures and for bringing along a bus!

See earlier two images, #23874 and #23875. Steve, pretending to be in the position of a cyclist next to a bus, has now moved further back. Only now is he visible - see next image, #23877.

See previous and next image, #23876 and #23878. Steve, having positioned himself in the position of a cyclist next to a bus, is only now just becoming visible to the driver.
