Journey Planner - plan a cycle journey to
A much used off road cycleway from Minsterley ends here and cyclists have to cross the A488 near where the 30MPH limit starts for Pontesbury. Cars are mostly much faster than that here. There is a good wide footway past Ashford drive which could be made dual use for pedestrians and bikes. Busses for children from Minsterley going to Mary Webb in Pontesbury are no longer being funded and there is a missing link from the good cycle track through to the secondry school. Dual use for pavements from the end of the bike track to the bottom of Brookside could be a solution.
