The way to avoid the steps at #101523 is to take the A9 road bridge across the railway, and the HArTT cycle route appears to do just that.
However, there is no evidence that the narrow footway is legal for shared use, and the provision of a single dropped kerb on this side of the road only suggests that the cycle route may actually go onto the busy A9 road!
