Sale Trafford Walton Park needs more cycle parking. It only has 5 front wheel clamps in the pavilion. One has been damaged and all do not fit the thicker type of tyre. This type of cycle parking is not suitable in a public area - any sight knock from a passer by will damage the secured wheel and bend it. That's why they are called wheel benders. Will the park (who have won award ) decide to remove these horrible clamps and replace with proper stands that support the frame of the bicycle rather than the wheel ?
