Dumbarton Road has service roads in front of the houses most of the way between Western Isles Road and Mountblow Road. It wouldn't take the earth to create a cycle link between Old Dalnottar Road (see #107093) and here to form a quietway on-road loop with access to the Forth & Clyde Canal at either end.
