A woman who died following a crash in Peterborough yesterday afternoon (15 May) has been named.
Lillian Clark, 99, of Sunnymead, Werrington was crossing Davids Lane, in Werrington, when she was struck by a car at about 1pm. Mrs Clark died at the scene.
The driver of the car was not injured. No arrests have been made in connection with the collision.
Lillian’s family have asked for their privacy to be respected, but did release this statement:
“She was a much loved and dear auntie, great auntie and great-great auntie. We are all devastated by her recent passing in such tragic circumstances.”
