View from Moorfield Road, Whittlesford looking down a short stub of road that leads towards a safe cycle/pedestrian crossing point where cyclists can cross the A505 one lane at a time using a large central refuge. This is NCN 11.

However in August 2019 this stub of road was reconstructed as part of a housing development, and a cycleway which was on the left-hand side has been removed. This means that the only way to get to the safe crossing point is to cycle down this stub of road (which is fine) and then bump over a full-height kerb.

This needs to be fixed by installing a dropped kerb at the far end of this stub of road, allowing cyclists to get to and from the safe crossing point.
