Broadheath Trafford near Manchester. It appears someone has decided this barrier is too much in the current emergency #viralkindness. The rationalised barriers prevents motor cars passing but allows cycles pushchairs and wheelchairs through while socially distancing and avoiding the convoluted and complex chicane arrangement.
During this emergency would Broadheath community and @DunhamMasseyNT @SBResidentsWA14 @Serena_tc @AmyMWhyte consider removing ALL the horizontal barriers and most of the vertical ones on all the barriers on this estate ? Perhaps as an experiment to see if this could be permanent. Some vertical post barriers will be required to prevent motor car access. see also #101747 twitter.com/Cyclinstructor/status/1247104310611259392
