Here northbound cycles are directed straight into two lanes of oncoming traffic, as the cycle lane abruptly ends. Frequently, tourists can be seen haplessly cycling along the pavement and then, when that runs out, cycling *into* oncoming traffic before having to cross the 4-lane dual carriageway to reach absolutely no safety on the other side, where there isn't a cycle lane, either. Criminally bad design and negligent, but no surprise from Westminster.
