A 4x4 that thinks it is a bicycle.

This is an example of a good concept that has been badly executed, to the degree that it is dangerous.

The recommended width for a cycle lane is 2.0m. This is a particularly intimidating, dangerous and exposed situation where the cyclist has moving vehicles passing on both sides.

You would expect the designer to have reflected this danger by providing, if anything, more than the recommended cycle lane width. But no, this lane measures only 0.9m - LESS THAN HALF the recommended width.

This is an accident waiting to happen.
