There are sensors in the ground which are designed to trigger the traffic lights at this junction. There is nothing to inform cyclists that their bike has been detected, and there is no obvious place on the ground over which you have to ride in order to be detected. The nearest push-button is over on the far right of the photo. The campaign asked it to be put there to reduce pedestrains congregating in the area for cyclists.
