Saltash and it closest neigbour Carkeel village are cut off by a lack of any footpath or safe cycleway. Connecting these communities by foot would increase the opportunities for the people of carkeel to travel by foot to saltash and the nearby shops. It would also enable those from Saltash to travel to Hatt and other close by communities such as Botus Fleming and Landulph.
