This is the most perilous stage of my cycle root. You have to position yourself to the right of traffic that has separate traffic lights to branch left down Old Uttoxeter Road. Positioning myself to carry straight on and not be forced left is worrying and psychologically one of the main causes I don’t like cycling to work.
