This newly built estate violated planning permission and built a pathway incorrectly by putting an inaccessible dropped kerb on a too-narrow footway. This is supposed to be part of National Cycle Route 11. But the placement of the dropped kerb makes it impossible for people with longer cycles to use it, such as this gentleman on a tandem with two kids. The turn is simply too sharp. It's pretty tricky even for people on 'ordinary' bicycles.

If the developers had followed their planning permission this would not have been a problem.
