Cambridge Labour Petersfield Councillors apparently oppose sensible cycling measures.
(Click on the image to see the detail.)
This leaflet has just been circulated in parts of Petersfield. Councillors Kevin Blencowe, Ben Bradnack and Lucy Walker still seem against the Kingston Street and other two-way cycling streets for some reason. That facility means people can avoid a less direct route that involves using a stretch of the third-highest accident blackspot in the whole county (Mill Road).
The leaflet fails to make clear whether they are against the principle of two-way cycling (as the leaflet implies) or just the implementation, which the Cycling Campaign has been pressing to improve.
