We ought to be grateful for the gritting, but it's not right to see a truck driving along the cycleways in Eddington scattering salt. A much smaller vehicle should be used. Cycleways are not for motor traffic of any kind in my view!

It could be that this is not being done by the county council as it is possible that these newish roads have not yet been adopted by the highways authority. Hence these might be contractors hired by the University of Cambridge
