There's a long length of string between the cones. There are breakpoints so that if caught it doesn't become a snare, but some have broken and are just tied.
Temporary closure of the NCN11 at Cambridge Road, Stapleford near the old railway bridge.
The closure is due to flooding and if it lasts a week is likely to cost the County Council more than fixing the problem permanently by raising the footpath by a few feet.
