A shopper is forced to walk the narrow gap between this van and a high hedge.
This is the main link for pedestrians between the Retail Park and the Beehive Centre. It is also a shared use cycle route leading to the toucan crossing.
Just before I took this there was another van parked immediately in front and it looks to me like they were queueing for the food van just out of shot on the left.
I didn't dare try talking to the drivers, and I even felt sheepish getting a photo. It's a horrible area.
I think the only way of stopping this is adding some form of physical barrier to prevent the footway being driven onto.
