[Image taken 21.3.21] Lendal gyratory, York. Looking across from Station Rise across Station Road, through the city walls to the junction of Station Road with the continuation of Station Rise direction of Leeman Road. The proposed diversion during the replacement of the floodgates (see: #165865) under Lendal Bridge is from here to Station Rise-Leeman Road. For the 'straight ahead' cyclist there is no clear and therefore no safe road position. See also: #166177
