New red-mac applied on the cyclepath between Downhams Lane and Hawkins Road (CB4 2QU) at the former former Rees Thomas School. The kerb is already there and NO DROP for cyclists to join Hawkins Road. See also #16687, #16689, #16690 and #16751 . There used to be a dropped kerb a bit to the right / east, see #4971.
The hedge elmininates visibility with the traffic coming from the new development, where cyclists re-join the road. This would benefit from a flat topped speed table. That would mean that no dropped kerb would be required, while at the same time slowing traffic and giving a measure of priority for emerging cyclists.
