New red-mac applied on the cyclepath between Downhams Lane and Hawkins Road (CB4 2QU) at the former former Rees Thomas School. The kerb was planned with NO DROP for cyclists to join Hawkins Road as can be seen from the opposite direction: #16688 . See also image #16690 and #16751 . Due to zero visibility when joining the road, this would benefit from a flat topped speed table. That would mean that no dropped kerb would be required, while at the same time slowing traffic and giving a measure of priority for emerging cyclists.
See work in progress: #17294.
