[UPDATE March 2023: These barriers removed: #192333] [UPDATE: #179512] [Image taken 5.5.21] The Knavesmire, the racecourse, York. This was a pair of staggered barriers. One has been removed. You can see the dark square of tarmac where one end was buried. This makes it much more comfortable and straightforward to ride this route even on a two-wheel cycle before you have done a big shop at the nearby Tesco. It must make all the difference on longer and wider cycles such as a sociable or trike. Other images of the barriers here today see also: #168482, #168479. And from 12.5.21 with measurements: #168847
