[Image taken 12.5.21] Knavesmire, Racecourse Road, York. When open to motor traffic (as here) the black and white gate limits the gap to 96cm at its narrowest. It is also noticeably uphill to reach the cycle-ped-wheelchair route beyond. More images here today see: #168847 and links.
