[Image taken 12.5.21] Knavesmire, Racecourse Road, York. The road is open to motor traffic today as - despite the corona pandemic - there was horse racing. Looking towards the racecourse. The cycle-ped-wheelchair route (Trans Pennine Trail, NCN65, and local destinations including retail, education and flu and covid-19 vaccinations centres during the 2020-21 pandemic) crosses it between the barriers.
