[Image taken 9.5.21] Hurricane Way, York. The toucan crossing over Clifton Moor Gate (main road running left to right in background) is from the central traffic-free triangle in the image. Therefore to get here from Hurricane Way I need to make two crossings and neither is a toucan. Journeys here on cycle or on foot are not straightforward, intuitive or convenient. Compare the stages and number of lit crossings (three) required for someone on a cycle to reach the other side of Clifton Moor Gate from B&Q or any of the other outlets on this side, eg Argos, with the ease and number of lit crossings (one) drivers have to negotiate.
