The gate at Robroyston station closes off the full width of the carriageway, and a dropped kerb has been provided on only one side of it to enable cyclists to join the footway and go around it. The nearest dropped kerb on the other side of the gate is beyond the station access roads. See also #169535.
The dropped kerb has tactile paving, but is not part of a crossing for pedestrians to get to the other side of the road, so is probably incorrect and should be removed.
