[Image taken 4.5.21] Barker Lane, York. This is a very handy cut-through between Micklegate and Toft Green for people on cycles. The pedestrian shows how narrow this is: there’s no room to pass motor vehicles, for example. There always seems to be a vehicle parked on this corner despite the double yellows. This means there are no sightlines when exiting onto Toft Green.
