[Image taken 21.6.21] Monkgate, York. Cyclists dismount signs at GP practice and other health facility. There's no drop kerb to access the pavement from the road... other than the one at the pedestrian crossing. If you used that to exit the road you might be in conflict with pedestrians crossing or waiting to cross/you might not therefore not be able to use it.
