[Image taken 21.6.21] Tanner's Moat junction with Rougier Street, York. The crossing is a key route to/from the city walls, they rail station, hotels. It is massively oversubscribed (see: #166024). The pedestrian in a green top and black trousers is in the cycle access-exit. This junction urgently needs rethinking: to link cyclists on Rougier Street approaching on the road where the white vehicle is with Museum Street/Lendal Bridge ie to enable a right turn; to enable people to cycle from Tanner's Moat onto Museum Street/Lendal Bridge with the current need to dismount and push (and add to the congestion here and at the pedestrian crossing from one side of Museum Street to the other); to enable people on cycles to turn left into Tanner's Row from Station Avenue... and for all people on foot (including those with no and limited sight) and wheelchairs to be able to make the journeys they need and want to safely.
