[Update 31.8.21] The signage is not working. Almost every time I use this crossing - in daylight at present - at least one, sometimes two, drivers (presumably) do not see the lights and therefore do not stop or even slow down. I wear hi-viz and have four panniers. The rear two are orange. I am therefore about as bright side-on as can be. It is terrifying as there is no safe place to go, no space to get out of the way.] [Image taken 20.7.21] Station Avenue, York. The pole obscures and distracts from the temporary infra intended to keep cyclists exiting the contraflow here safe and making it easier for them to cross to the further carriageway.
