There is a lack of a dropped kerb to allow access to the canal towpath at the end of the car park at Firhill. A temporary ramp has been provided, but this is possibly related to the construction work on the bridge to the Claypits nature reserve and associated ramp.
There is also a problem of car parking on the path around Firhill at times, and here someone has driven a car through the car park and parked on the grass bank of the canal.
