[Image taken 13.8.21] Tanner Row, York, looking towards Wellington Row. This doesn’t look like a big issue but the contraflow cycle lane is very narrow, some drivers seem not to see the contraflow signs, are on this side of the road when they come round the corner from Wellington Row, and are going fast. There are also pedestrians to be aware of as the pavements are also too narrow… People on cycles should not have to be looking down – we need to be looking around. Parallels with mobile phone use.
