After eleven years the "Cycle Lane" sign with no cycle lane was removed in June 2009. For previous images see #8610, #16529, #16531. The sign was the "spot the cycle lane" feature in the Cambridge Cycling Campaign newsletter 17, back in 1998: www.camcycle.org.uk/newsletters/17/article20.html

The sign was removed in June 2009 - (see #17383) and end of route signs added - #17384, #17385 and route signs added to the shared use pavement - #17386, #17387.
