[Image taken 6.10.21] Waitrose, Foss Islands Road, York. [Note: No street view at this location.] Clear cycle parking signposting: Tick. Sheffield design racks: Tick. Number of racks: Insufficient. Fail. Accessible/inclusive options: Fail. The owner of the flyparked cycle on the sign said when he arrived there was no other space available. In 2016, Waitrose was setting standards (see: #174776). Now, in the year of 'code red for humanity' (www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-58130705) and when COP26 is in the UK, it is not meeting any standards, the needs of its customers or supporting others to make active and sustainable transport choices. All images Waitrose today: #174630, #174631, #174632. Later images this Waitrose and comment see: #175105 and links. Other images today: #174633, #174634, #174635.
