[UPDATE: A CYC officer said: "The barrier near the bollards on Blake Street is put out by the Council Street Scene staff when the bollards are put in place to offer more visibility of the bollards as they have been hit by a vehicle trying to access the area during the pedestrian hours." But this is hugely unsightly and surely a trip hazard. [Image taken 14.10.21] Blake Street, York outside the tourist info office. Is this an official obstruction or something someone unofficial has moved? It's a hazard. It's an eyesore. It's where many, perhaps even most, visitors and residents will walk if they come into town.
