Good points:
a) the cycle parking is easy to spot from the entrance;
b) the racks are the Sheffield design.
Bad points:
a) the cycle parking would seem to be a long way from the entrance to the hospital. The fact this could be the case and might be an issue is highlighted by the presence of the trike. (Though, of course, there could be racks closer to the entrance and the owner say, I'll park further away as I need the exercise);
b) the racks are too close together - I didn't have my tape measure or chalk with me but those gaps don't look like 100cm between the upstands;
c) the sign here is a mph guide not one flagging up the cycle parking and thereby giving a further message: 'Cyclists are welcome just as everyone is' (good practice example see: #174629) and to prove it we are providing cycle parking for your convenience;
d) that mph sign limits who can use two spaces reducing the number to six;
