[UPDATE: Conditions have worsened over a year: #186002.] [Image taken 18.10.21] Clifton Backies (the Woodland Chase/Water Lane end), York. Part of the route floods and also freezes in inclement conditions. An ongoing year-round issue is that the surface splits. As a nature reserve it is not lit after dark so the fissures are real hazards coupled with the very narrow path (see: #173161) means everyone needs to be looking around them not down.
