This road has become a ‘rat run’ following the increase in traffic up Hall Bank. It has no pavement & has narrow sections. It is used by cyclists & pedestrians (including families with wheelchairs and buggies). It is also an obvious route from the cycle route that comes from Minsterley for children to travel actively to school. Ideally access by vehicles for residents only from one direction, 20mph & one way only (going from north to south). If this is too much, allocating a cycle lane on the road with signage would help show motorists there are other users.
