[Image taken 19.1.22] Aldi, Water Lane, York. [NOTE: No streetview at this location.] Sheffield racks. Under cover. Well lit. But not easy to find or to access - there is family car parking along the entire cycle parking area - see also: #177913. Plus, as is too often the case at supermarkets and DIY outlets, etc, the trolleys are nowhere near the racks so you might need to carry all your luggage and, if you have one, an infant that is not yet walking to and from the trolleys. Or, leave your belongings/shopping unattended on the cycle while you return the trolley. The gap between these uprights (intended for wider and longer machines and/or people with mobility issues?) is 140cm. This is a more realistic and definitely more comfortable distance apart than the standard 100cm - see: #177859. It means you can load your basket/nearest pannier/a child, from the side, and pull the cycle towards you to load the far bag and there be room for both to expand as you fill them.
