[Image taken 29.1.22] Marygate car park, York. Context: #178357. The patched, uneven surface and those cobbles are no worse than those on Frederic Street (left) which also bounds the car park... and which has many disabled parking spaces on it. This area (all sides of Marygate car park and through it) is very busy with people on foot, with buggies, with wheeled luggage, with mobility aids, and with people with sight issues and people on cycles. These vulnerable users need smooth surfaces and transitions (dropped kerbs) it's appalling that the surfaces here are so uneven. It reflects badly on the city - to residents and to visitors. Other images here today: #178354 and links.
