Rauhehorst forms part of the spokes to the wheel around Oldenburg. It features narrow, segregated cycleways. Under the motorway A293, the layout leads cyclists off the pavement and onto a main carriageway cycle lane, which ends on the other side of the motorway under path, where cyclists are led onto a narrow, poorly paved, shared use pavement of Friedhofsweg - see #178759.
