[Image taken 11.2.22] Lidl, James Street, York. [NOTE: No streetview this location.] Unless you cycle and use your rig for utility purposes you may not know (planners, developers...) you load a cycle from the side. This image shows you load from the side even if you have a trailer. Note how little space is available to the right of this cycle/trailer and the cycle just visible on the right of this image. That cycle is on the other side of the Sheffield stand. You could not get another cycle on the side of the support within the space used by this person. Yet Sheffield stands are designed for/intended for their uprights/supports to be used on both sides. This image shows that the accepted recommended minimum (100cm) space between uprights is not practical or accessible. Other image this subject today: #179010. Trailer images here today: #179011, #179012. Trailer image here another day: #179502.
