[Image taken 23.2.22] Looking towards Butcher Terrace, Rowntree Park end of Millennium Bridge, York. [NOTE: No streetview at this location.] The flooding caused by storms has overrun the route to/from the bridge. The route is/was due to be raised to keep it open even during times of high water levels. Instead people either ride through the water (risking a rusty chain, at the very least) or use the waterlogged grass - the tracks are clearly visible. Other images of the flooding here today: #179286, #179287, #179288, #179289, #179290, and from 22.2.22: #179274. The aftermath: #179509. Other images today: #179291, #179292.
