[Image taken 19.3.22] Library Square, York. A 'York' cycle. An owner-specific setup that makes this cycle even more suitable for utility purposes. You couldn't take it on LNER or other ToC (train operating company) that has hooks for cycle carriage: there would be no room for the basket. Note also the rear rack - is this cycle longer than the average or does it just look as if it might be? If it is, this might be a further barrier to the owner being able to take his/her cycle on a train. Has it been painted/decorated by the owner? Perhaps to deter thieves? Or to help find it when it is secured among a great many other cycles? Other image here today: #180370.
